Our Christmas

The Family is Here!

The Fam is in town and it is awesome. We have been very busy with socializing.
Ben & Marjolein made a Moroccan dinner last night- so good. Dixon and Courtney made Mexican tonight, and Margarita's! Also very good. They've been going out during the day's and doing fun things, like ice skating and touring the Museum of Flight. Then coming home and hanging out with Ry and I. I worked a lot of overtime so I get off at 2:30 everyday for a little extra time with the fam.
Mom sent our gifts with Kathy and Terry, which one we were able to open immediately. Two beautiful wreaths made by my mother. They had apples and burgundy ribbons and were too die for. We have one up in the peak and one on the front door.
Courtney leaves tomorrow and we are sad. She has been so much fun, probably because we have the exact same personality, and I love myself!
Christmas draws near and we are all excited.

14) Use Hair-Dryer to speed dry wall

18) Make run to Lowe's for missing parts
19) Glue wrong parts together
20) Yell horrible words (Knuckle F*%$) that make wife laugh and then hide
21) Get one sink to run
22) Play video games and drink beer

Marriage is Bliss and a Hamburger

Last Saturday Ryan and I were invited to a cocktail party in the evening. Ry had been working all day at the office and then came home and we did work on the house. To make a long story short, we didn't have time to have dinner, so we hit a Burger King on the way over. As we pull up and Ryan is ordering he asks me what I want, "A Hamburger", he tells the guy. Then pauses and looks at me and says what type of hamburger, "A Hamburger" I respond. "There are like 10 different hamburgers up there", at this point we have moved forward in the drive-thru line.
"A Hamburger, Ryan."- "Well, I don't see it up there"- "Doesn't mean it isn't, it's a H-A-M-B-U-R-G-E-R! Everywhere has a Hamburger".
After receiving our food, and both being a little frustrated with the other, we pull over to eat. He steps out of the car so that he doesn't spill on his nice clothes. He walks around to my side of the car and motions for me to roll down my window. I glare, and then grudingly roll it down. Next thing I know his massive arm is forcing it's way through the crack I have made and grabbing fries out of the bag. I act on my urge and roll up the window with his arm in it. I laugh in delight and then laugh harder when he yelps in pain. Then fearing his wrath I roll down the window. Revenge is sweet.
We have a good chuckle when we see his french fry dangling from his scarf as it has missed his mouth.

Everybody's Working For the Weekend

We painted the hallway and the bathroom this weekend and hopefully we'll prep the tile this week so that we can lay tile this weekend. Dad and Kathy will be in town the weekend of the 21st and we want to put a major dent in things. Thanksgiving will hopefully be a productive 4 days for us. The goal is to have the house ready for the Moffis Clan & Co as they come to stay with us for Christmas.

Ryan saw Hulk Hogan on Wednesday at our Gym, red bandanna and all. He's in town for his new book. I am so jealous!
