Worse News Ever!!!!!!!!!!
Seeker will not be picked up for another season! I just read it on Bridget Regan's Twitter: @Dear_B or should I say Dear Diary? Got some news that Seeker is no more. So sad to say goodbye to my NZ family but excited for what's next.
I am beyond distraught. I will finish watching the series and then read the books, whatever I can do to get me through this.

Short video of Ryan on motorcycle. He thought I was taking his picture, not recording.
Grandparents Brown
Stan and Elsie were in town this weekend. We really enjoyed their company. Friday we took it easy and made meatloaf. Saturday they all woke up at 5:50, I was like, nope, going back to bed! We went to the Museum of Flight on Saturday. Ryan and Stan saw a B-17 plane and were going to go for a ride. Then they found out it was $430 a person! That night we watched the Man from Snowy River.

What a Great Day!
Here are the awesome things that have happened to me today:
1) Found out brother and sister-in-law will be in town this weekend.
2) Saw Gloria Steinem speak today. She was way inspirational and had beautifully creepy hands.
3) Bought Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes album today.
4) Won an Earth Day Raffle and got $140 gift card to an online organic farm that delivers to my house.
This is so fabulous!

Downtown
Wednesday I had intentions of going to Bainbridge and visiting my friend. Unfortunately, like all great goals, life gets in the way. If I would have left 2 minutes sooner I could have made it. I changed during work and I was very quick running my items to the car. That day I felt the beginning of a cold. Usually I convince my body that it's just allergies and the cold goes away. This felt different though, and I knew it was legit. I knew I was in a hurry to catch the 5:30 Ferry but I wasn't going to push myself for fear of instigating the cold. I was quick and efficient, but it wasn't enough. I arrived just as the bridge was being lifted. The next ferry wasn't for an hour and that only gave me an hour in Bainbridge before I had to head back and meet Ryan. I decided just to head home, relax, have some tea, and watch Legend of the Seeker. These are some of the photos I took along the way. The city is so amazing when you slow down and actually look at it vs. rushing from one place to the next.

Sailing Lessons
Ryan took "sailing lessons" last Thursday. We have a friend at work who owns a boat. He offered to take a few of the guys out and teach them the "ropes"- no pun intended. Ryan learned a lot and had a super time. At one point the boat tipped so low that the sails were in the water. You can see in one of the photos an idea of just how low the boat was going. The amount of wind and the rough water made for "tactical beer drinking" said Ryan.
