Where's the Beef?!
I put these out at my desk, sans lid, and waited to see people's reactions. It was three days of utter delight. Many people were horrified and disgusted. I was even asked why I would do something like that? My response, "for people like you". I was also told I was mean.
Two responses were the best though, Ryan's boss and a courier.
Ryan's boss grabbed 5 and just kept popping them in his mouth like nothing was off in flavor and that is what he expected. I just sat there in amazement trying to keep composure. He never flinched or freaked out, nothing passed over his face.
The courier grabbed a handful and went out to the elevator, back turned to me. I sat and waited. I saw him throw the entire handful into his mouth and saw a slight pause and then a jolt and several hops as the bacon flavor punched his taste buds. He ran back in here and asked me what that was. "Bacon!" I shouted between laughs. Fortunately, he laughed as well and said, "Luckily, I like bacon."
Like I said, it was a great 3 days! Especially watching other people in the office try and get people to take these nasty beans by claiming their deliciousness and yummy fruitiness.
Oh, and for all of you out there who think I actually am mean, I had one of the first ones, and burped up bacon for an hour, I was entitled to my fun!!!

Good Bye Mary #26!!!
I had a great B-Day this year. It was very low key, which is just the way I wanted to keep it. Minimal celebration and lots of well-wishing phone calls, especially from my brother. Probably the best part about this years birthday was the hodgepodge of random gifts I received. Here is a collection of what I received.
1) Money
2) Party Shirt, complete with lots of straps and studs.
3) "I'm not a Paper Cup" travel mug
4) Billy Joel's "The Stranger" CD. I'm not for sure which is more surprising, receiving the CD or liking it.
5) A surger! Which is awesome because not only do I now own it, but it was Ryan's moms, so it has sentimental meaning.
6) Wine Glass Charms, hand crafted by his uber-talented cousin Abby.
And the most random, most awkwardly awesome gift of all....
Drum Roll Please...
7) Christmas Pillows! I laughed so hard. What an unexpected and utterly delightful gift. Christmas is not my favorite Holiday by any means which is why I found it so very funny. Not to mention that it's the beginning of summer and I received pillows that said "Let it Snow!" with snowmen. If anyone knows my sense of humor then they know how odd it is and what an appreciation I have for random humor. Thanks Aunt Bon-Bon and Uncle Marky-Mark for the thoughtful, on many levels, birthday gift!
Merry Birthday!!!

Memorial Weekend
We had an awesome weekend with Dad, Kathy, Michael, and Phoi. Friday was dad's 55th Birthday! We went to Hard Rock where they yelled across the restaurant and announced his age, it was very funny. We did a lot of shopping and saw Robin Hood and Prince of Persia- both good movies! Saturday night I made my Pop's a spaghetti dinner, which he loved. Sunday night we did a Taco dinner, you can see Phoi in the above photo with her "baby" sized Taco. Dang, that girl can eat!!! Throughout the weekend we all had to take naps at some point, we were that exhausted from fun.
