The Scotch Games- Part 1
We drove down to Gresham this last weekend for the Scottish Highland Games to support my brother. It was $20 to get in and their had to be several thousand people there. At first we thought it was a little steep, but by the end of the day it was sooo worth it. We hung out with Diane and Annie while Phil and Paul competed. Paul placed 3rd in his class and Phil placed second in his. Phil also won a sword, which is still questionable whether that was a good idea to give that boy a sword... After the games we went to Kells in downtown Portland for dinner and then back to the hotel for a riveting game of Uno! Ry and I finally got to test out the back of our new truck and it was pretty nice! We headed out the next morning. I feel very blessed to know my brother has married into such a great family. We truly enjoy their company and can't wait till the next time we get to hang out with the MacLachlan Clan again!
Lake Chelan
The weekend following 4th of July we had a wedding to attend in Lake Chelan. We decided to make it a camping adventure and stayed at 25 Mile Creek with some buddies from work. The wedding was so beautiful and the bride was breath taking, truly! The wedding took place at Karma Vineyards where the wine never stopped. The newlyweds anticipated the effects of the wine and sent a shuttle to pick people up from their campsites- I was glad for this! The food was awesome and the view was spectacular. I danced my little heart out and made a lot of new friends, who surprisingly I still remember their names- point one for me! Woot!
4th of July
We had a really great 4th of July! My mom with my cousin's Michaela & Brandi with her little girl Ryan came up to stay. We did the tour of graves where we visited Cobain, the Lee's and Hendrix. We saw the Troll, checked out both Markets, and just had a really great time! Lot's of bbq'ing, smores and fireworks. It was truly a great time!

2011 June Idaho Visit
Well we paid a quick visit to Idaho this last weekend. It was pretty awesome. Made a lil video to showcase the highlights, you know how the Browns love their videos. Anyway, it was a great trip. We were entertained at a bridal shower, surprised my Grandma at her 75th Surprise B-Day Bash, and had a family picnic between Ry's family and mine. My brother kicked my butt at the "gentleman's game" Backgammon. I was given a pillow pet named Stardust who has a lisp. And Ryan and Dixon both sliced up their left index fingers with a knife that was A) to sharp and B) they were too drunk to be using.
