Dinner with Friends

We had friends over for dinner on Saturday night, which was so fun! We did spaghetti and meatballs, cupcakes for dessert, and home made pretzels made by our buddy for later in the night. I don't know why I didn't think to take more pictures, but oh well.

Outfit of the Day

Here's an average work outfit for Ryan. Notice the strong Al Boreland tendecy. He has a nice black vest he likes to sport as well. He has many color variations of his carharts and several different plaids for shirts.

Look at the Size of Those Balls!!!

These each are one clove of garlic! I asked Ryan what he bought, he said it wasn't the elephant garlic. It's so huge! Look at how much of my hand it takes up, and so firm too! Imagine the flavor that little baby packs. You are not forget that taste in your mouth, that's for sure. Did I ever mention how much I love garlic? :)

Our New Knives

We are down to 3 steak knives, 2 wood knives collected from who knows where, and a purple veggies knife...I think that's what it is. Needless to say, we don't have anything nice. This particular brand of knives my bf has. Only hers all multi-colored. I've always envied them. When I went to LA last year we went to a restaurant that had the same knives. My bf told me that you can buy them at Anthro. A couple of weeks ago I found them at Marshall's. I didn't buy as they didn't have exactly what I wanted. They had a set of all wood that Ryan liked, but I thought they were ok. Today I found the mother load! 2 different sets of mismatching colors, 1 set of black, 1 set of red, 1 set of wood, 1 set of metal, and this set that looks like, um, what's the name of this...Alabaster? Shoot, I can't remember. Anyway, even though I wanted the mismatching I thought these one's were a nice compromise to mine and Ry's style. How cute are the little bee's where your finger goes?!

Cleatus, Snowman Extrodinaire

Here's Cleatus. He loves to Party.
No matter the time of year, he is up for a good time.
But alas, all good things must come to an end. Cleatus, I told you all that partying would be the death of you.

Beer Update

We moved the beer over to filter out a lot of the debris. We tasted it, pretty good. This batch is proving to have some potential. I'll be interested to taste it with carbonation. It's definitely going to be on the sweeter side. We are hoping to bottle this weekend.
