Saturday Night

 Peggy & Me

Going to take a nap so I'll make this quick. Roller Derby Saturday night with friends. Super Fun! I decided my Roller Derby name would be Sas-squash! Peggy is Wang-A-Tang and Angela is Scratch n' Snatch. Headed over to Fremont for dinner at Revel and then hit the bars. Dropped Peggy off and went to Dick's in Queen Anne with the rest. Super good night.

Friday Night

This is our neighbor Carlos. Carlos is pretty awesome. Friday night Ryan and I put on Pandora to the tune of Sleigh Bells and rocked out. We also prepped to make our fajitas and enjoyed some libations in the process. At one point we saw Carlos getting home. We ran to the window and used all of our juvenile knowledge to catch his attention. No use though, Carlos was jamming out to his Ipod. We could tell he was looking for us so we ran to the other window and waved our arms frantically. I guess we could have gone outside, but when has easy ever been the first thought in a person's mind other than a Friday night at a Frat party? We did get Carlos's attention and we all waved. Few minutes later we heard a loud plinking at the side window, Carlos was throwing pebbles at our window. We invited him over for dinner and Ry had the above drink waiting for him. He hung out till 9 and then went to catch his other plans while we watched Thor. Good night.

My New Hoodie!

So happy about my new Bar Gernika Hoody that Ry brought back from Idaho! I've been wondering for several months now where my DC sweatshirt has gone that I have had since high school. I finally asked Ry a few weeks ago. His response, "Don't know, I think you got rid of it". Does that sound suspicious or what?! Ok, well that was my first thought at least. Upon reflection I decided this could be true. I probably got rid of it to motivate myself to buy a new one. I had mentioned several times how I wanted a hoodie from Bar Gernika in Boise. I even went so far as to look them up online- merchandise was down on line. When I was in town in August I stared at the wall of clothes at the bar but couldn't convince myself to spend the money. Then this last Sunday it dawned on me that Ry could by the hoodie. I texted him immediately and was delighted for a quick response back, that is until I read it. "Already left Boise, Sorry." Heart broken I responded, "DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!! Oh well..." My best friend was concerned at my state and asked, could he stop by on the way out of town. No, it's 45 minutes in the opposite direction. That settled that.
Regardless I was so excited for my hubby's homecoming. Cleaned the house, had cornish game hens waiting, and pretty curly hair. I flung open the door to see him charging at me with love in his eyes. He laid the most wonderful kiss on me that I had ever experienced! HOT DANG! I thought! After pulling away for air my eyes got the sweatshirt hanging up. If you know me then you know my response, high pitched yelling.

It was a magical homecoming and a wonderful gift. He's so fabulous!

Ryan in Idaho

Ryan sent these to me today. I asked him if I should be worried? No response... Now I am.
