the Day After Phil's Birthday

First of all, let me say, there were a lot of hurting people the day after Phil's birthday. We didn't go to bed till 3a.m. so naturally we weren't up till 10:45ish. After a nice breakfast us girls rushed out to catch the Breaking Dawn movie while the boys went to the gun range. I'm not for sure how they could handle the loud banging noise of the guns with a hangover, but they did.

The bummer is we partied so hard last night that we are all tuckered out tonight on New Year's Eve. We have 2 hours to go and all are doing our best to keep awake. My only motivation is shooting off fireworks.

Phil's B-Day!

Phil's birthday was on the 30th and what a day it was. We went to Banya 5 at about noon and stayed for several hours. Phil was in heaven. We all had a really great time.

 These two knuckleheads really bonded. Noah was in love with Phil's sheer manliness and muscle.

 Here we are singing to Phil. I used the only candle I had, a number 5. Then Phil proceeded to throw the candle and break it after he made his wish. Thanks a lot, Phil...

 Ice cream cake and Old Chub.

This is my ice cream cake, which turned out fabulously. It has a brownie bottom with a thin layer of hot fudge on top, sans hot. Next is a thick layer of mint chip. I then crushed up oreos to make a layer between the rocky road I put on top. It turned out seriously good!
