Dear Lord, Binx, What HAVE You Done?!

I came home from a very nice dinner with my friend Angela to find a dead bird carelessly tossed amongst my room. I believe the bird got in through the holes in our mudroom, we haven't finished the roof completely and there are tiny holes creatures could get in through the ceiling. You can imagine my shock when I flip the light switch and find feathers near my
vanity and upon further investigation find a tiny bird contorted in a gruesome death.
You can domesticate the animal, but you cannot domesticate the beast.
Rest In Peace Tiny Winged Friend

Bangs

I have had Super Christina cut bangs into my head. A nice, thick, mod chunk of bangs.
These bangs have offered me a new perspective on life. I find that I am now cooler, and funnier, and overall a better person. I've also discovered that with this new perspective on life also comes super-human powers. I'm not going to call them super-hero because I don't have time to go out and save people. I find that I now have the power to stop a husband's mischievous acts dead in their tracks. I can cut a husband's slanderous tongue from completing their random acts of hate crimes. And lastly, it has made my pimp hand strong.
If any of you are considering bangs consult with your own Super Christina first. Make sure that you are the right vessel for the awesome and intense power that comes with the bangs. You might have to complete a series of test to make sure you are ready for the challenge, like say the alphabet backwards, solve square roots, and tap dance. If you pass your series of test, then maybe, just maybe you too could have Boom-Boom-Bangs!
With great power comes great responsibility. Your life will change as you know it, so please weigh the decision wisely.

Updates and Plans

We have finally committed to coming home for Christmas. Yay! Now we have to figure out how to get gifts there and what days to spend who with. As usual it will be very busy as we try to fit everyone in. We will be in for a week, so that will be good. Already making calls and trying to work out days. Ryan is already stressed out, ah the Holidays!

We finished the East side/Lake Side/Kitchen side of the house on Sunday. Now all that is left is the back, which won't be finished this year, and the dormer's, which hopefully the front will get done before the weather goes bad.

We bought a hamper and a shelving unit for the bathroom, looks good. All that's left in the bathroom is to sand, stain, and seal the window. Attach the backwash, put trim in the lights, and hang pictures, then done!

This winter we are planning on doing the electrical and putting up more trim. Ryan, I believe, is going to try and create some attic space- we'll see on that one.

Next year the plan is to finish the paint, start the garage and landscaping. So, we will see how this goes.

Here they are pointing to the state Wisconsin, where they are from. Talk about weird coincidences!
