We embarked upon a journey to find a disposable phone. After much a wander, a theme here, we found a Wind store. I was quite excited to get to practice my Italian finally. We got a phone for pretty cheap and the guy was so nice.4
As the norm we started wandering around and made our way back to the Trevi Fountain. We enjoyed paninis in front of the fountain into the fountain for good measure.
We made our way all the way down to the Collosseum but decided not to do a tour. Why? I don't know. Probably thought a guided tour was too much and line was too long. Regardless we wandered around again. We saw the Circus Maximus.
We took a 5 hour nap, it was amazing. That was the first of many delicious naps. When we woke up our hostess Nikki (or Nuket as she was Turkish) invited us to meet up with one of her friends. The three of us caught the tram into the center of Rome. We walked through Campo Fiori and waited for her Turkish friend Memet. He was awesome! We made our way over to Trastevere and found our way to an outside patio for food. It was nice to see that they operated the same way we did as in keep walking past perfectly good restaurants in hope of the perfect restaurant. We sat at one place and then decided, after getting menus, that we liked another place better. We enjoyed Lambruscos, antipastis, and pizza. It was very fun.
