Festival of trees at the Fairmonte Hotel. My favorite tree was "Leap into Christmas". It was decorated with a bunch of frogs- I loved it. And it seemed appropriate with the new Muppets movie being out.
Tree lighting festival at Macy's/Westlake- so much fun! Cinderella came and performed. She was so gorgeous in her gold ball gown, white fur, and white gloves! The only bummer was that she didn't sing a song from Cinderella! She sang "My Favorite Things". Her voice was perfect for Cinderella though. I really want to see Cinderella being performed at 5th Ave, but the cheapest tickets are $80!!! Ridiculous.
Made Star Wars pancakes for breakfast.
That's my Ol' Pops!
My dad and Kathy flew in Wednesday. We met Michael for dinner at the Cheesecake factory. Poor Phoi was under the weather the entire time so we barely saw her. Thursday we did Thanksgiving. I thought the food turned out really great! We hung out the whole day, it was so nice. My dad insisted on having a paper for the Black Friday ads. Dom: "I want to wrap myself in them!" Michael also brought the paper, it was ad city here! Friday we hit the sales, but didn't get anything. We had a vet apt. so we had to break off from the heard and take care of kitty. Then we met up and went down town for Festival of Trees and dinner with Michael and Phoi. Phoi is such an amazing cook, I can't wait for her to open a restaurant one day so I can spend all of my hard earned cash there! Saturday Ryan's dad and family stopped by while Dad and Kathy went out with Michael. That night we had dinner- tested a crock pot recipe out, not so good and beets take a super long time to cook! Boo! Then we went to see Hugo. Not at all what the previews portray it to be, it was too long, but I liked the part about George Melies. I think me and my dad got heat sickness because the theatre was grossly hot. Sunday we slept in, went to the mall and the Rack where I bought some awesome tops! Went out to our favorite restaurant, Pulcinell'as, which was a huge hit with all.
Michael coined it our "IPhone Thanksgiving" because Dad, Kathy, and Ryan all bought IPhones. Silly birds...
Cried when I dropped Dad and Kathy off, but it was worth the tears. Such a great Thanksgiving!
